Design, packaging, and tools built from real-world experience.
Hey, I’m Jess. I help small businesses look polished, professional, and ready for the shelf with custom packaging, labels, branding, mockups, reorder systems, and practical tools built from years of real-world experience.
I’ve been doing this a long time, and I’ve seen what breaks.
I didn’t just learn design. I lived it.
From building brands, running printers, importing packaging, designing websites, and helping clients through production headaches, I’ve seen exactly where things get confusing, expensive, or unnecessarily complicated.
That’s what led to The Label Lady. Turning years of experience into tools and systems that make things clearer, faster, and way easier.

This isn’t just design
Most designers stop at the artwork. I don’t.
- How it prints
- How it sells
- How it reorders
- How it scales
That’s the difference.
How it all came together
A quick journey from MS Paint to The Label Lady 💛
MS Paint beginnings
My first logo was made in Microsoft Paint for a drag racer friend. Not fancy, but it started everything.
Fantastic Sams days
I was a receptionist and occasional hair guinea pig 😅 making business cards and flyers. That turned into real client work.
Going all in
After my son Tanner was born, I left the 9 to 5 and built URGrafix full-time.
Real production experience
I designed brands, manufactured packaging, imported products, built websites, and learned exactly where things break.
The Eatonville shop
We had a print shop in a former police station turned pot shop. It taught me a lot about overhead and sustainability.
The Label Lady
Now everything comes together. Design, packaging, tools, and systems that make this easier.
A few snapshots from the journey
Not a fancy brand shoot. Just real life, real work, and figuring it out as I went 💛
